Gameplay Notes
Enemies spawn in packs from the corners and target you. Fly through gates to make them explode, instantly clearing them and all nearby enemies.
Fly around with the D-Pad. Colliding with any enemy, or the orange tips of a gate, ends the game instantly. The level is endless; aim for a high-score.
Enemies drop multipliers when destroyed by gate explosions. Pick them up by flying nearby, and the next enemies you defeat will be worth more points.
Flying through multiple gates in quick succession applies a stacking combo multiplier, applying to both the gate itself and the enemies you clear with it.
Grinding against the board walls speeds you up. The dark zones beside them slow enemies down.
From five score digits onwards, you automatically gain a shield upon reaching the next point digit. You can fly into enemies to destroy them with this shield, although they won't drop multipliers this way.
Don't ignore existing green enemies for too long. They'll eventually turn into deadly purple enemies.

Programming Notes
The sprites used in this game were borrowed from a widescreen version I made years prior. In retrospect, these sprites were inappropriate for this game's resolution, being slightly too large. The result is a worse gameplay experience; the camera appears too 'zoomed-in'.
The vertical camera shake height from gate explosions stacks, and swaps between a slower and faster shake dependent on the amount remaining. The faster shake is less disorientating at larger heights, and the slower shake looks smoother without problems at lower heights.
