Gameplay Notes
Currently a half-clone of Holocure, but with (upgradeable) auto-aim, and different weapons.
'Holo' is going to take me a while to complete. So unlike my other projects, I'll be uploading a lot of videos of its development, from start-to-finish.
Move around with the D-Pad, and try to avoid the enemies. Press B to activate your special ability. Both aiming and firing is fully automatic.
Enemies drop experience orbs when they die. Run over them to pick them up automatically. With enough experience, you can level something up.
Knockback on enemies is fully stackable. Multiple strong weapons hitting an enemy together can temporarily launch them completely off the screen.
Each time you level up, you'll need more experience to reach the following level. Pick upgrades carefully!

What is this game?
"Holo" is a 2D roguelike shoot 'em up. It's based on Holocure: Save The Fans!
Programming Notes
'SPEED' affects both your movement speed, alongside all your weapon projectile speeds. I combined these so you cannot outrun your own projectiles by solely upgrading SPEED.
The curling bomb weapon in the prototype was inspired by Splatoon, and an individual I know who's taken a great liking to them for years.
Temp: Going forward, I'm probably going to close my Odysee channel, and focus on Rumble + ProtonDrive here, with mirrors of my content being made on YouTube.
